Scrappy

"Scrappy"

A cute little cairn terrier I was commissioned to draw.
(If you arent familiar with the breed, perhaps you are familiar with the
little dog "Toto" in The Wizard of Oz, who was the black variance of this breed.)
I also had the privilege to meet this little guy at my job.
Apparently this was intended to be a birthday gift,
I hope the dogs owner enjoyed it. <3 It was a pleasure to work on.

Doing this I learned (special thanks to a friend) the usefulness of a compass, (the measuring kind)
in art to get proportions more accurate. It is a tool I will regularly be using in my commissions now.
